I design thumbnails at Bleacher Report with a focus on creating distinct, high-performing visuals for each video. What started as occasional requests has evolved into a more intentional process, where every thumbnail is built to stand out, communicate quickly, and drive clicks. Through ongoing research and testing, I study what works across YouTube and apply those insights to each design, balancing strong visual storytelling with the brand’s voice. The goal is always the same: make something that feels unique to the content while earning attention in a crowded feed. Some examples of thumbnails and A/B testing options below.
