Process
From composition to final.
My poster process begins with establishing a visual direction and gathering the imagery needed to build the composition. I explore different arrangements before refining the selected direction through image manipulation, color, effects, and typography.
Visual Directions
Different ideas. Different approaches.
I use poster design as an opportunity to explore different visual approaches. Depending on the subject, the image, typography, composition, or overall concept can become the primary driver of the design. My work explores a range of image-driven, type-driven, collage, and concept-driven approaches.
