Thumbnail Design
Typography / Branding / Design / Layout / Template Design
I design thumbnails for Bleacher Report with a focus on creating distinctive, high-performing visuals for video. My work ranges from live shows and interviews to breaking news, editorial content, and recurring programming. Each thumbnail is designed to communicate the story quickly, establish a clear visual hierarchy, and capture attention in a crowded feed.
Personality & Interview
Personality-driven thumbnails rely heavily on expression, chemistry, and recognizable subjects. I use composition and typography to create a clear visual hook while keeping the featured personalities central to the story.
Recurring Series & Templates
I also create repeatable thumbnail systems for recurring content. Templates establish a consistent visual identity while allowing imagery, typography, and layouts to adapt to each individual story.
Live & Programming
I designed thumbnails for live broadcasts and recurring video programming, balancing strong branding with clear information about the event or show.
Concepts, Predictions & Rankings
For prediction, ranking, and analysis-driven content, the thumbnail needs to establish a visual idea while still communicating the subject immediately. These designs use comparisons, visual metaphors, rankings, and structured typography to make information-driven stories more visually engaging.
